We’ve compiled a Frequently Asked Questions About Yoga list for you, to hopefully answer some of your questions and make it that much easier for you to find your way to your mat.

What makes Cleveland Yoga Little Italy different from other yoga studios?

Cleveland Yoga is a Baptiste Affiliate Studio, and the only one in Cleveland. Our teachers use Journey into Power as the foundation for their classes, which is the Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga series of 53 poses. Some classes follow Journey into Power to the letter, while other teachers add skill builders and creative variations to the series.

I purchased my classes/package at another Cleveland Yoga location (Beachwood or Concord), can I use them at Little Italy?

Unfortunately, NO.  Passes do not cross over between studios unless you are a Freedom Pass Member.  We do offer multiple types of passes and class packages to fit your practice routine and these can be purchased at any/all of our locations. I am not flexible, can I do yoga?

You are the perfect candidate for yoga! A regular yoga practice will increase your flexibility and mobility. Our teachers are well-versed in offering modifications as well.

Will I get used to the heat?

Yes. The heat will do wonders for your body. It may seem overwhelming at first, but with more focus on breath and drishti (gaze), you’ll be digging our heated studio in no time.

Do you have props available?

No, we do not have props or mats available for use at this time due to COVID-19 safety measures.

What should I wear?

No cotton. Wear breathable fabrics that are comfortable. Bring a change of clothes for after class if you are not going home.

Should I eat before I take a class?

A light snack is best or nothing at all. It depends on what works for you. Experiment with different juices/foods before class. Some prefer to not eat at all while a light snack/fruit/juices work well for many. Arrive for class hydrated!

Are lockers and/or showers available?

We have cubbies outside our studio. We do not have showers in the building. We are not responsible for stolen or lost articles.

Is there parking?

We have a parking lot and on street parking.
